Meta-evaluation of the School-University Partnerships Initiative (2016-18)
RCUK commissioned Ruth Townsley to produce an internal review of the lessons and successes of SUPI. This 4-year programme supported 12 universities to work in partnership with local schools to deliver outreach opportunities designed to inspire and engage students and teachers to engage with research. Our work involved documentary review, interviews, analysis and internal reporting to RCUK and programme partners.
Review of the Public Engagement with Research Catalyst programme (2016)
RCUK commissioned Ruth Townsley to undertake an end-of-programme review, based on annual reports from the eight universities involved as Catalysts and their own project evaluation data. Our report and summary provide a synthesis of the approaches and achievements of the PER Catalyst programme overall and were published in October 2016 available here.
