Learning and evaluation consultancy for the Human Cell Atlas ‘One Cell At A Time’ public engagement project (2020 to 2021)
We were commissioned by the Wellcome Sanger Institute to undertake a programme-wide evaluation of ‘One Cell At A Time’ – public engagement inspired by the UK Human Cell Atlas. ‘One Cell At A Time’ developed a number of art/science collaborations to bring about enhanced and sustained engagement with the UK Human Cell Atlas across research and public communities. We conducted a co-produced mixed-methods evaluation, to gather quantitative and qualitative evidence of the achievements, learning and outcomes of the project, from the perspective of public participants, delivery partners and a cohort of HCA researchers engaged in the project.
